Boxford Village Hall is a perfect venue for Weddings/Private Parties and fundraising events throughout the year.
It has all the facilities you will need – the 2 halls can combine to accommodate 120 people for a buffet or sit down function and space available outside for a Marquee
The kitchen is adequately equipped with:
Electric Oven, ceramic hob, Microwave oven, small fridge, dishwasher (must be emptied before vacating hall)
A limited number of teacups and saucers, small plates, glasses and cutlery are available. Hirers should bring their own cleaning materials, dishwasher powder etc.
The pre-school tables and chairs are available to hire – please select this option on the Booking form.
All hirers’ rubbish should be taken home (this includes kitchen, toilets, changing rooms, hall and outside if appropriate).
The hall opens onto a beautiful veranda ideal in the summer – overlooking the recreation ground and cricket pitch and with stunning views towards the village.
BBQ’s can be accommodated by special request.
Bouncy Castles can be accommodated in the Community Hall or outside – the size of the Bouncy Castle should be appropriate for the size of the hall.
BOXFORD VILLAGE HALL – We hired the whole hall for my son’s wedding, and even though we also had a marquee for most of the festivities, it was great to have somewhere to retreat should the weather have changed (which it didn’t!). BVH is a warm and very well-equipped building, with ample supplies of disposables – so nice not to have Portaloos! And the arrangements were straightforward and friendly. Go on, give it a try yourselves….

“We hired Boxford Village Hall for our daughter’s wedding in July 2017. The flexibility in being able to erect a marquee and have both it and the Hall available for the reception gave us a very flexible venue to accommodate the guests on the day. The weather wasn’t great, but the veranda around the Hall provided a really terrific space for guests to stand and chat away from the music during the evening party, while staying dry but also in the cool of the evening. The facilities for kitchen and toilets were exemplary. Overall we could not have been happier with the Hall and have no hesitation in recommending it for a wedding reception – if only the Management Committee could also lay on the correct weather rather than the typical British summer!!” Neal Rankin
